Wang Kai Weibo Post [20170211]

Translated by: moonlil; Edited by: Eleanor

Wang Kai’s Weibo post marked the Chinese Lantern Festival, the last day of the Chinese New Year (which falls on January 15th of the Lunar calendar). People often celebrate by eating yuanxiao or tangyuan (the respective names in Northern and Southern China). Wang Kai posted with some photos of him and some friends eating yuanxiao.

“Happy Lantern Festival! 🏮 Remember to eat yuanxiao 😜

Many fans have been trying to guess (1) which one is Kaikai’s hand, and (2) who everyone else’s hands are. Guo Xiaoran asked fans to guess which hand was his (so he was likely there). It might be that Kaikai was also with his family (his parents, his sister, and her husband, and then maybe Guo Xiaoran as well). Which one do you think is Kaikai’s hand? Let us know in the comments section below.

Wang Kai Studio Official/Deshe also posted this cute gif post with Kaikai yuanxiao which says: “15th of January [lunar calendar] Happy Lantern Festival!”.

Happy Lantern Festival everyone!

Lower right corner. That was my first choice, though now I am really unsure and am swaying between lower right and 3 o’clock…:S *bracing my knees for the upcoming kneeling*

This is going to sound crazy…but I went and studied older photos of his hands and how much white he had on the nail bed…so now I think lower right hand corner. hahaha. Did anyone actually confirm on Weibo eventually?

xD don’t worry, the fans on weibo did the same, you’re fine 😉 unfortunately no…I was expecting someone (Ms. P, Hu Miao or some of the other co-actors) to givr an answer. It might become a mystery, sigh. …Though we could always try and meet Kaikai to ask him directly ;p XD

Haha I second this plan. Hey Kaikai, can I please hold your hand? It’s for research purposes 😉

…middle right…due to the shape of the nails and slender fingers.
