Video transcript:

Hello, everyone. I’m Wang Kai. I played the role of Prince Jing in Nirvana In Fire. I’m very glad that the figure of Prince Jing will stay forever in Madame Tussauds Wuhan. Madame Tussauds is a palace for celebrities all over the world, and Wuhan is my hometown. Therefore, this special coincidence is even more precious to me. Today the sculptors who have come to measure me are from Madame Tussauds London. They have done lots of tailored statues for other celebrities around the world. It’s an honor to cooperate with them. Wow, there are so many eye balls. Picking out the right one with exact same color of my eyes and pupils is a tough job for the eye. Now it’s the turn for facial data acquisition. It’s said that in order to be more accurate, they have to draw many dots on my face. Two hours passed, hundreds of photos were taken for each posture. The sculptors are still working diligently and will be working for another few hours to acquire three hundred kinds of data. Although posing is a little tiring, it’s a great chance to see how the masters of Madame Tussauds work. They are more tired than me. As the data acquisition is completed, there’s one more step, which is very important to make the wax statue the same size of the real person,—coloring. The sculptors from the UK will work with the artists from the local Madame Tussauds studio to compare and make a color palette of my face, body and special marks. In this way, the wax statue will be carefully colored and it will be presented vividly and perfectly. All right, all is done. Not long after, my wax statue will settle in Madame Tussauds Wuhan. I welcome you all to come and interact with it. Visit Wuhan, walk on Han Street and come to Madame Tussauds Wuhan! Please keep following the official website, Weibo and WeChat of Madame Tussauds Wuhan. All information will be released there first. Please wait and see.

And as a bonus, here’s a photo of his lovely hands being measured!
